I stopped in on a Sunday afternoon before an appointment at the Park Shelton. The shop is surprisingly spacious and offers a wide range of affordable to pricy vintage style accessories and clothing. If I had a special event, especially one with a retro theme, I would come here first!

I simply cannot say enough good things about the Peacock Room.
If I had to describe the Peacock Room in one word, it would be: hooked. Two: impeccable service. Three: Don’t pass it. Located in what was the former dining room of a historic apartment-hotel in Detroit, the Wardell Hotel, now the Park Shelton, the Peacock Room itself is beautiful. EVERY time I shop there, I am warmly welcomed, I always find something that compliments my wardrobe, and in a wide range of price point. I confidently know I can shop with my mother, grandmother, niece (who is young), and we all find something we love.
