By far the worst company ever. Very greedy, rude and inconsiderate which totally defeats the purpose of them being in the helping field.

Meridian Health Plan used to be everything I had hoped for in a health plan and loved everything about them. Now 6 years later, I feel like I'm talking to a child. I just called them this morning to get help looking for a specialist in my area. I would have done it myself, but I'm trying to get my 1 year old ready for an appointment so I called for quick guidance. I was told to look it up on Meridian's website! Thanks for the quick guidance & assistance!!! I have been considering switching health plans because of the lack of help lately!

There good with my kids meeting there needs. I love they have a asthma program.

Very difficult to get treatments approved. When they do make a determination it is always much later than the guaranteed date. Customer service does the best they can but is often just not knowledgeable enough. I'm very disappointed in the quality of care.

I'm young, healthy, and do not take any medications so I cannot attest to how they handle any major health problems or medication; what I can say is that they do not communicate well. I signed up with Meridian and they are the first health plan I have had on my own (was on my father's insurance before). I signed with them in 2016 and had Delta Dental which my current dentist office accepts. Apparently they changed the dental providers at the beginning of 2017 and I never received any letters informing me of such, and never received a new insurance card which would have reflected the change. I am now stuck with a bill from my dentist office because I was unknowingly insured under a dental provider that they do not accept.
When I called Meridian, the representative was polite but unhelpful and said that my dentist office was at fault for not checking to be sure I was "active". They may be true, but what I was trying to convey was my upset that I never received any notification of the change from Meridian.
