Upside the beach clean but minimal rest room like (3) and the pool and slide needs to get going kids want it lol

Definitely is getting better. Seemed to be only a few people in the water but the beach was packed.

I love coming to Belle Isle Beach in the summer time to get some sun and cool off in the river on a beautiful day. The parks service have really done a good job with cleaning the area and making sure guests are all following the rules. The only downside is that dogs aren't allowed on the beach or in the water at all. The website says that dogs are allowed, but the rangers were telling people they couldn't have their dogs with them the last time I was there so don't bring them unless you're just walking around the island.

I'm not really sure about the beach but when on the island it's always busy!! Belle Isle is a current Detroit come back story! Such a cool place to explore and the aquarium is worth the trip!
