This place use to be a good classic standard bar and restaurant. After they get new ownership it just was never the same. The food quality has gone down and the prices have gone up. The service is always so super slow. And lastly they don't allow dogs on their patio and that one for me is a deal breaker.

It's been awhile since I visited here, but it was a good choice as I try to bring my out of town guest somewhere nice and different. H?Js offered a great selection of food, our service was great! Our food was delicious and my guest LOVED it! On the we'll be back list!😉 #detroitchic

Great spot for dinner and a beer. The only downside is that there is some confusion when it comes to seating yourself. They were out of fish on my visit, but the Spinach Artichoke Melt was still pretty tasty. The bartender we had before we sat down made up for it because she was friendly and willing to allow us a sample of some interesting draft beers. The Imperial Milkshake Stout was delicious.

The chicken and waffles are great very good hospitality even the BLTs are the bomb.

Good food, decent prices, OK service. The chicken and waffles tasted great. Though the chicken was a tad too salty, eating it with syrup & waffle made it good. I got it with the bone-in wings, which, while less convenient to eat, was nice and juicy. Next time, though, I think I'll opt for convenience with the tenders. I really like crumbled bacon over my chicken and waffles, but shouldn't have added that this time: first, it was already enough food; second, it already had a good crunch from the chicken; and third, the saltiness of the bacon didn't add anything the dish didn't already have because, as noted, the chicken was already a bit too salty. My friend's meal looked good, but it was just a basic breakfast: eggs, meat, potatoes, toast. I'd probably come here again, and I'd probably get the chicken and waffles again.
