Way over priced. Wish Google showed the price range for this place like they do most other places, never would have went in. Once we saw the menu, my boyfriend wanted to leave. I felt bad doing that so I combed the menu for something that wasn't ridiculously priced and thought we would just share a 2 tamale platter as the tamales are the cheapest thing on the menu. Instead, she charged us for 2 single tamales, it costs more that way.... Also, I've never been to a Mexican restaurant that charges for refills on the chips and salsa, and they don't even bring you a small container of it, they just bring you a 4 oz disposable cup and basket of chips, refill is $2.99. If you have extra money to spend, go for it, if not, look elsewhere.

The taco Tuesdays are super delicious here, when i just went there today oct 3rd 2017. I got beef and chicken. 1.50$ very very good. Great service at the bar today. Took them to go. Will come back.

Food made us feel ill, and it's very basic, makes me think of a white version of mexican food.
On the positive, the server was absolutely attentive and very friendly.
We don't recommend eating here unless you don't have taste buds.

The bartender's name was/is Maria. She is a lovely lady and a top notch bartender, I'm not sure if I've ever had a better margarita ever. She was very busy but attentive and helpful no matter how much she had going on besides the lone gringo sitting at the bar by himself. I would absolutely suggest this fantastic cantina to anyone who likes great drinks, delicious food, and a welcoming and fun atmosphere. Maria, if I lived in Detroit then you'd have a loyal regular customer in me for sure!

A bartender by the name of Maria. I was handed a menu as I sat at the bar, and asked if I wanted a beverage. I ordered a beer. I got her attention when I was ready to order. She yelled to me, "we don't have fried chicken here". Apparently, this is her attempt at humor. She said the same thing to a black gentleman next to me. I don't know if he found it funny. I did not. I ordered my food, tamales. A little later, she brought my bill, with a pen. I was still eating, and hadn't signed the bill yet. As I was eating, she came over, snatched my pen, and said "yeah, you don't need this, do you?". Never brought the pen back. I had to leave soon after, and had no pen to sign my receipt, as it was assumed that as a black man, I wouldn't be tipping. I did nothing to deserve this type of service, which I find completely unacceptable.
