Good jambalya, spicy items offered, very small/casual area to eat( carryout suggested). Hours of operation limited. Street parking (Gratiot). Prices vary all costly.

Would not recommend! The food here used to be really good. Now it's flavorless and boring. Their prices are NOT reasonable at all. If you go here be prepared to pay a arm and a leg.

I usually get the creole which is always on point. I switched up and got the smothered pork chops with rice and green beens. The pork chops were salty. It seemed the gravy was made with chicken broth. It was really light not brown. Other then that I had no issues. I payed $12 for that meal and I couldn't enjoy it. I am looking at all the reviews for the beans and rice with Cajun sausage and I am eating it as we speak. Yes I had to go back just for the ratings. I must say it is good but i am greedy and I think next time I will try it with shrimp. Very filling when you don't want a heavy lunch for work. It comes with 2 corn bread muffins. The lemonade is Yummy!!!!!!!!!

Love the food here. More of a take out place, but a few tables available. Friendly service. Groupon makes it a fantastic deal. Will return for sure. Closer to Eastern market.

Omg! This was my first time going to this restaurant! The food was delectable! I ordered the Cajun Rib Tips with Mac n Cheese and Candied Yams, I also had the corn muffins. Wonderful restaurant with a great back story. I will go back and I encourage others to check them out as well.
