Above average. Lots of choices in hamburgers. Fries are above average as well.

I visited this restaurant on Saturday the 16th at around 7pm. I am a very busy university student with 2 part time jobs which delayed my review. I am not the type of person to go and leave bad reviews but my experience at Simon's was just so terrible. I ordered Cajun fries (that's it), while I was waiting for my order I noticed 2 of the workers looking at my fries and chatting before handing them to me. I was given regular fries, so I asked for Cajun and the employee dumped the seasoning with no effort to spread it. As I was eating I noticed my fries were WAY over cooked, dry, and just terrible. I was with 3 friends and their orders of burgers and fries were perfect. My fries didn't even look like they were made at the same place. I went to the counter to try to explain the problem before I was interrupted by an older man that shouted at me "Whats the problem?!" so I repeated myself and he sarcastically replied "OH I'll get you more". What I was given were worm like fries just warm enough to the point that they were not frozen. They were so disgusting I had to throw them out and leave hungry. I am totally disgusted by the service and food I was given.
On a positive note, Windsor is FINALLY getting a REAL 5GUYS restaurant so people can actually enjoy good service unlike what this wannabe eatery can offer!
THANKS FOR READING :)

One of the best burger joints I've ever been to. Customize your toppings and amazing poutines. I've always gotten the Canadian burger and it's never failed me. (it comes with peameal bacon!!!!!) Always come here for lunch if I can.

If you like your burgers old fashioned, fried on a large restaurant griddle with fresh cut fries, then this is the place to eat. The place has a "Hole in the Wall" restaurant vibe. The service was fast and friendly. When I was a child I remember my mom cooking freshly hand packed burgers. She would cook them in a cast iron pan and they would go directly on the bun. It was a tasty, yet a messy occasion with all the toppings I would put on the burger. These burgers reminds me of my mom's burgers (she never used fillers in her burgers either). So in conclusion, they have tasty burgers, but this place is not a heart healthy choice (even their bacon tasted like thick cut butcher's bacon). So if you are the kind of person that cuts off the fat from your steak when you eat at a restaurant, then I would avoid this place.

When they first opened they were phenomenal. Burgers are still great but I find it depends on the day and the employee if the fries are cooked long enough. Most times lately they are totally soggy and overly spiced. In fact today I ordered lunch and couldn't eat the fries as they were so spicy and ridiculously soggy. I may be back for just a burger but the fries complete the experience. Here us hoping they start caring a little more on theur fry quality or i would bet u am not the only one on the fence about going back again.
