Nice office. Doesn't smell like pee. They also use the petdesk app, which makes it super convenient.

Very disappointed with end of life experience with our cat. He was 17, dehydrated and not eating. Treatment was provided to rehydrate and bloodwork was taken. Cost was $350. Told they would call on Saturday with results. On Monday morning I called to inquire and was told results just arrived and that the vet would review and call me shortly. After 3:00 pm. I had still not heard from vet and called back. Told Dr. Gill would review and get back in touch. He was the vet who attended to our cat on Friday. Later that afternoon another vet called to share results. Told him that our cat was still not eating or drinking despite giving the appetite stimulant we were provided. Suggested we come for an urgent care food which we did. Cat refused to eat it and passed away Tuesday morning.

I understand that the cat was elderly and ill and was nearing end of life. I am mostly disappointed with Dr. Gill and what seems like a lack of care and compassion to follow up himself. The morning our pet died someone from Clearwater did call to check up. She was respectful and sincere when told our pet had passed.

I'm not sure that much, if anything, could have been done to extend our pet's life or to return any quality to his life. I'm not angry with the loss. I'm a little annoyed with the care than was extended for the cost that was paid. Our family liked most of the staff that we were in contact with at Clearwater for the numerous years that we brought our pets in for care. I don't feel that the vet provided feedback and dialogue or adequately discussed treatment options once the blood result were returned. Having someone else call, who did not assess our pet on Friday, is disappointing.
