Everyone here is fantastic. Wouldn't dream of taking my child anywhere else.

If I could give them less than 1 star, or perhaps even indulge in numbers less than zero, I would. For years I have watched my best friend and her children receive sub-par treatment and care from Dothan Pediatrics. I relentlessly encouraged her to take a firmer position with the doctors, as they are working FOR her, and should never take that fact for granted, and to some extent, she attempted to do so. When that failed, and her childrens medical complaints were treated, time and again, as imagined maladies, or trivialities unworthy of the attention of physicians, I encouraged her to seek treatment from Southeastern Pediatrics, who in 20 years have NEVER failed my own children. Youth, faith in the doctors who scoffed at her every parental concern, or naivete, has kept her at Dothan Peds. Until now, as her fears are being realized. Just days ago, she took her 9 year old daughter to see Dr. Freeman at Dothan Peds, because severe pain in her leg had sent them to the ER the previous weekend. Xrays in hand, mother and limping child, made their way to the the standard post-ER follow-up visit, only to be given the sage advice to "put the crutches down, throw the pain medicine out (both provided by Flowers Hospital), and walk it off". Dr. Freeman essentially looked a 9 year old child in the face and told her that her feelings, her fears, her pain, were insignificant, and possibly manufactured. This same child would later comment to me, "She didn't even care. I can't even touch my leg without it hurting, and she didn't care."
In the end, either apathy prevented her from even looking at the xray, or incompetence prevented her from understanding what she was seeing. She refused my friend's requested labs, and referral to SOUTHERN BONE AND JOINT. She was only given the referral after complaining about the doctor's mistreatment of her daughter on FACEBOOK.
Incidentally, her daughter was quickly diagnosed by S.B. & J, after what the doctor referred to as a cursory glance at her xray, with Osteocondritis Dissecans of the Talus. A condition that the Orthopedic Physician said was inevitably exacerbated by the 3 days she spent, sans crutches, "walking it off" as her pediatrician prescribed. Now, we wait, for 6 weeks of a cast, followed by an MRI, and if uncorrected by casting, surgery of the ankle.
If your doctors fail to treat you with dignity and lack concern about your treatment, find new doctors. At 10 years old my son told his Pediatrician, Dr. Germanson at Southeastern Pediatrics that he believed he had contracted Lyme disease while hiking in Minnesota. He listed his symptoms, and explained why he was so concerned. WITHOUT HESITATION, DR. Germanson began contacting colleagues, ordering labs, and issuing referrals. Within minutes, she had arranged for my son to be seen at Children's (Park Place) in Birmingham, where he was diagnosed with Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis ( which closely resembles Lyme Disease ). She took the self- diagnosis of a 10 year old seriously.
Dothan Pediatrics should take note.

I have taking my daughter here multiple times! She is 7 months old and has had terrible ear infections and has lots of allergies! She has seen lots of different doctors, almost every time they give her a quick look in the ear, listen to her breathing, write a prescription, tell me to turn on a humidifier and they are done. I recently took her in and requested they do food allergy testing(big mistake). I had to hold my 7 month old down while one of them spent about 10 minutes trying to find a vein! After failing to get any blood, he decided to the other nurse "try". I calmed her down and then laid her back down while the other nurse attempted the same thing and spent about 10 minutes trying to find a vein, she was more successful and did get SOME blood. The whole time of course my sweet little girl is screaming as loud as she can, I guess they got tired of it, and quit. When I saw the very little amount of blood they had, I questioned if it was enough. They reassured me it would be fine! The results were suppose to take a week to come back, so when we were back in exactly a week later for another ear infection, I asked the nurse if they had results yet, and she told me I would get a call the following day. I did not. So the next week when we were in again, I asked once more for results and they still didn't have them. So I waited until the next week (3weeks after drawing blood) and called and left a voicemail to try to get the results. They called back to tell me I need to bring her back in so they can repeat the process again, because they didn't get enough blood. I should have been called and told this as soon as they found out, not after asking 3 times and it should not have happened in the first place. I am only writing this because I am tired of getting the run around and the 30 second exams when I am trying to get my daughter well. I also have called to speak with the manager 3 times now and no one will call me back. I have had better luck caring for my baby with Google and Walgreens than trusting Dothan Pediatric with her well being!
