My dogs LOVE going here, whether it's for a vet visit or to be boarded. The staff is absolutely amazing, they are always so friendly and treat my pups like they are their own. They know them by name when we walk through the door. We have only seen Dr. Jones and she is wonderful. I can't say enough good things about her and Southeast Alabama veterinary Hospital, I always tell my family and friends I'm not sure what we are going to do when we have to move. Dr. Jones will sit with you and answer all your questions in detail to make sure you have all the knowledge you need. Our vet in Birmingham was in and out in about 15 minutes regardless of the situation, Dr. Jones has sat with us for over 45 minutes making sure every question was answered. She has also personally called me to give me the status update on my pup when he was having an allergic reaction. This is hands down the best vet hospital I have ever gone to, and they have the best and most caring staff!

A friend of mine had a horrendous experience at this hospital back around late April-early May 2017. He boarded his dog there and when he went to pick his dog up he noticed a big gash on his dog's face. When he inquired about it there NOBODY 'COULD' TELL HIM ANYTHING ABOUT IT... Now wait one cotton pickin' minute here... This business is a service, am I right or wrong? This business IS IN THE BUSINESS OF TAKING CARE OF THEIR CUSTOMERS PETS...so, this is how they earn their money... Right or wrong? SO, when something bad happens at this clinic shouldn't somebody there KNOW ABOUT IT? I mean, if the pets are being supervised at all times while they are boarded there, then certainly nothing like a gash, whose scar is still apparent six monrhs later should be there... RIGHT OR WRONG? And no, I don't believe as they would have had my friend to believe as the only response they had for him-- 'that sometimes "accidents" happen'! So, when a major car accident occurs, it doesn't get reported? (We're talking HONEST people here!)... WOULD YOU ALL AS CUSTOMERS THERE APPRECIATE SIMILAR TREATMENT THERE WITH YOUR PETS?

Dr. Forrester, Brandi, Michelle and the entire staff are all you could ever dream of for the perfect vet. They treat both of our dogs like family. They know each by name and go out of our way to ensure they’re taken care of. They go above and beyond to listen to you and explain what is going on with your animals. They truly care and love on our pets. We are so thankful for such a wonderful vet team! We couldn’t sing their praises enough!

This is my dog's second time visiting. I am away at college so my sister has to take my dog Liloh to her appointments. There is no hassle to set an appointment and they evaluate her and figure out the best route for her based on the situation. With being in school, I am so grateful for the affordable prices. All I can say is thank you to Southeast Al Vet, you guys are so amazing!

We've been using Dr. Forrester and the team at Southeast Alabama Veterinary Hospital for about two years. Every experience has been positive. We frequently board our pets with them for the weekend, and I love the fact that they have a Sunday pick up time. Many vets don't offer Sunday pickup so your pets have to stay over until Monday. It's a great place with a professional, friendly team. Would recommend.
