Great park. Cool play grounds for younger and older kids. Basketball courts and lots of green area. I've been told that it's one of the best parks for kids around. Everything is well kept.

Haddox family park is located off Radford in a wonderful neighborhood. Tha park offers to sets of playgrounds, one for children ages 2-5 and the other bigger set (picture is in this review) for ages 5-12. The park also has a basketball court, numerous benches, tables and chairs. There is also a decent piece of land covered with grass suitable for picnics, birthday parties and of course for children to play on.

The Haddox Family Park was named after the Haddox family, the patriarch of the family Dr. John (Jack) H. Haddox was a beloved and longtime professor (58 years to be exact) of philosophy at UTEP. He and his wife Carmen had 11 children who grew up loving the fine arts. Mostly all followed in their Father's footsteps becoming educators in El Paso's numerous school districts and community colleges as well as sharing his view of social justice. So much so that one of his children grew up to own a store which sold socially conscientious items, "Visions". This is just a short story about the Haddox family, I wanted to share this for those who are curious about who this park was named after.

It is a beautiful little park. Great for just a walk or to bring the kids over to play at. It's in a odd area, but the way it was built makes it safe for children and beautiful.
