Professors here genuinely care for their students' success, the campus is safe and always clean, and many opportunities if you put in the effort. Love this school and glad I chose to go here!

This university is the second oldest in the state of Washington. Originally built to teach "teachers". Ellensburg is a 2 hour drive from Seattle,WA but it is about 10 years behind in terms of urbanization. Though that is what keeps the city small, and allows its charm to stay pure. Central Washington University has some amazing, off the charts professors who have done amazing things throughout the world. Certain programs have more funding than others, and the ones that don't suffer at times. Make sure to do your research, visit the school, and image what it would be like to get excited every year about a rodeo.

I attended here for a year before I realized that this is an over priced school. It would have been nice if my counselor here informed me that most of my credits would not transfer. I basically started from scratch here. My hidden disability met that I did not get the assistance I should have gotten. They kept treating me like I didn't have it. Even with a proven doctor note. I scored low in most of the freshmen entry level classes because the freshmen were more interested in gossip than getting a high grade in the class. I felt my time was wasted here. I for one would never return here nor recommend it. Unless you start your education here from the start.
If you're a transfer first year with 4+ years education you should be allowed to drive to camps even if your in your late twenties.
I felt the food program works if you eat every meal here. Otherwise you're better off purchasing a mini fridge and stocking it up with groceries from the grocery store. What you don't spend belongs to them.

Central is such a nice place with nice people and because of it being in Ellensburg, us who live here don't have to move away from our parents when we go to college unless we want to. This place is AWESOME!

Nice campus with nice people in the area. It feels like a small town and everyone seems to know everyone else. I like the campus. It was clean and the people were nice when I came here for camp.
