Ellensburg is not the best known place in the USA for authentic ethnic cuisine. Personally, I think it is a challenge to obtain authentic ingredients in central Washington state, which is prohibitive to home cooks as well restaurants. Fiesta En Jalisco is the closest you will find to authentic Mexican cooking. It is the only place I have found that has Horchata. The restaurant is family owned and managed, so you will get home cooking. They know what picco de gallo is and how to make it. Their wet burritos are the best you will find in town. Service is prompt, orders are accurate and the place is always clean. They also pick up their phone when it rings!! You will not be dissapointed in Fiesta En Jalisco.

Very good Mexican food. Family friendly, portions we're just right. Salsa was a little too hot for the kids. Pico de Gallo costs extra, next time I will ask for mild salsa for the kids instead.

The borrego was excellent. The chicken mole was really pretty good. Rice, beans, chips, salsa, and tortillas were all very good (always a good sign when they can get these simple things right)
