Took my son and was there for like 3hrs. This is before seeing the doctor. HORRIBLE!

Deaconess Urgent Care North Park is terrible. I recommend avoiding it at all costs. Save yourself time, money, and pain and go elsewhere. I went with a family member and it was the single worst experience I've ever had at an Urgent Care facility. The patient ended up in the hospital and the hospital told us that the Urgent Care did not follow first line defense protocol for the infection. Moreover, they did not supply proper pain management medication. Didn't give the right antibiotic for a serious infection & didn't follow the protocol for pain management that's standard for that ailment. None of my friends or family will ever go back.

The most efficient urgent care I've ever been to they worked like clockwork from registration to check out everybody was professional courteous and I was absolutely amazed. Got diagnosed,prescription in a timely manner!!!!!!

My wife brought our 9 year old daughter in for sharp abdominal pain. They took blood test and urine test and asked us to call back in the evening for update. Prescribed antibiotics and medication for nausea. When we called back at that suggested time in the evening we were asked to leave a phone number and they would call us back. Received a call back to inform us that half of the tests were back but DR still needed to evaluate tests. Never called back again. Still haven't received results because "We are very busy."
Requested a school note to cover my absence from school for the past 4 days and was told it would be ready by 6:30 tonight. When I arrived at closing and asked the receptionist for the note she looked for the note and returned with an answer that they have no school note for her. When I called my wife to confirm this was the correct location and gave the name of the receptionist she had been speaking to, it went from "we don't have a note for my daughter" to "there was still a wait for the DR to complete the form." When I questioned how they were going to get us the note, I received a sarcastic answer of "Well we are closed right now, you can start by coming back when we are open!"
This will be the last visit my family makes. Very rude receptionist!

Every person I encountered, from receptionist to nurse to doctor to check out, was very polite and friendly. I felt like they were genuinely nice people who truly wanted to help others.
The wait was a bit longer BUT once I spent my time being seen I completely understood why. They were very complete in the exam, exploring options and explaining treatment. I felt comfort when I left my concern was addressed and my treatment was appropriate.
I definitely will return to this facility if I need the type of care they offer again.
