My experience of the VA clinic in Evansville Indiana never been good there's so much that needs to be fixed at that place that it should be shut down everybody fired and restarted there's no emergency room you can't be seen unless it's from 8am-4pm then they'll determine if you need to go to a local hospital, or you'll have to go to the Marion Illinois VA Hospital 95 miles away each way sometimes I'll make arrangements to take you. I arrived at the Evansville Clinic March 10th signed in I never got they never had a primary care physician for me till in September they told me I had to wait be seen by a doctor by my primary care physician then to give you any meds I was out of diabetic equipment medicine out of blood pressure medicine they didn't care I can go on about this place especially the primary care physician they gave me which is a physician assistants Linda on say the last name really shouldn't be working for the VA she should keep her other job small claims court judge in Henderson Kentucky.

I’ve moved around a bit, without a doubt I can say this is the best VA Clinic I have been to. Very attentive to your particular needs.

Staff and everyone but my doctor is great, he continues to make poor choices and bad referrals. Tries to send me to Marion for everything when we have local people that can do it. As a self employed person this is a 4 hour round trip costing me a whole day of work for a 30 minute doctors appointment. I have a local doc I can see in the morning without missing work. This makes no sense and cost my family a day work as a self employed person.

Never had a bit of trouble with this place and they've kept me alive when I would probably not have been without them.

I usually go to Vincennes clinic, but will be sent to Evansville for care not provided through Vincennes. Every time I have been to one of the appointments in Evansvile, I have been treated with respect and kindness. The doctors and nurses were always nice. I have called and had to wait on the phone for awhile at times, but you have to figure all the people they have to deal with in a days time. Some people complain about it. All I can say is just try and go to regular doctor with regular health care and insureance. I've been there and it is VERY expensive. I thank God for the VA and the health care they provide.
