Place has gone down hill since the new owner. Keep giving it a chance and the quality goes down. Bones in the cut chicken dishes and the beef is under seasoned, aka bland, and dry. Was a family favorite, but the new owners left us looking elsewhere.

Definitely better than your average Chinese place. This may be the best Chinese restaurant I've been to in Evansville! They had some unique dishes I haven't seen at other establishments. Well done!

Wong was the perfect waitress. We really enjoyed the Yen Ching Beef and Shrimp and Chicken combination. Everything was beautifully presented and tasted delicious.

The staff is extremely friendly, they refilled our drinks often, served the rice directly to us, and even put everything in to-go boxes for us. The food is delicious; prices are high, but the portions are so huge I ended up bringing home more than half of my plate. The decor is astounding, absolutely beautiful inside, and the lighting is dim without being too dark.

I can't understand the rave reviews. The service was great but the food was horrible. The egg roll tasted like it was cooked in oil that hadn't been changed in a decade. I ate half, tried to eat more again in my hotel room, and it was just inedible. The hot and sour soup was sour, a weird color, two pieces of tofu, hardly any of the usual vegetables/crunch. Instead, mushy green peas appeared in my soup. Couldn't finish that either. I had spicy green beans with pork, rather like ma la string beans. I suspect the beans were fried in the same rancid oil. Way too much sodium, couldn't taste anything else. Last but not least, how do you agree up rice? This was not fluffy steamed sticky rice, but like minute rice with added mushy peas and carrots. A light tan, not even deep nutty brown if they were attempting fried rice. Gosh, it was the worst Chinese food I've had in a long time. Service was great, food horrid. I'd try something else. I won't be back.
