Food Is Delicious. Staff Is Nice If You Get To Know Them. Not The Best Location. Inside Is Nice But Bar Is Closed And Not In Good Shape. Good Drink Selection. Although, My Tea Came From Another Customers Tea Pot...

The food was some of the worst we've ever had!! This place used to be good. Our family would eat here, or take out frequently. You used to get enough food to take home on the family meals. We had the "D" dinner tonight. I took my son and granddaughter there tonight since we haven't been in a while. There was only one other couple in the dining area. This place used to be packed years ago. After tonight, I can see why it was so empty. We ordered, the soup we wanted, the dinner we wanted, and my son ordered a pop. 25 minutes later he got his pop, and the "appetizers" came. The BBQ pork, egg rolls, and the prawns that were supposed to come with the dinner. Dinner showed up about 1/2 hour after we got the appetizers, and we had to use the dirty plates we just ate off of. Not once did the "waiter/owner/or whatever he was" checked back with us to see how the food was or to offer another pop. We did not get our soup we ordered. The good was barely Luke warm. The waiter person was no where to be found, otherwise we would have asked him to please get us some hot food. I hate cool food from a restaurant!! The sweet and sour pork was so over cooked, we could barely get a fork through it, it was like eating jerky! I could not even eat it. The almond fried chicken was soggy and tasteless. The Mongolian beef had a real weird taste to it. It was served on some type of noodles. I got a hard chunk of them that was so hard I had to spit them back out because I couldn't chew through them. And yes, I do still have my own teeth that work just fine! Lol. Long after we were done (trying to) eat, still no appearance from the waiter, my son got up and got the to go boxes and a bag to put all the left overs in. When the waiter finally showed up (we actually thought he may have been a janitor or dishwasher when he took our order from the way he was dressed) we were ready (long ready) to leave. Now he brings the soup....We declined. After complaining about how terrible the food was, my son told him that maybe the dog will eat the left overs. He just smiled, never once an apology, still charged me full price $54+. I told him how good the food used to be here, how often we used to eat here, that we will never come back. He just kept smiling and told me to have a good day. Lilly, your place has really gone down hill and it sucks for the price. Never eat here! The Chinese buffets have better food. And at least they offer you a refill on pop! We didn't even get tea!

When Lilly's Garden replaced the old Happy Land, they were initially pretty good. However, lately they seem to be slacking off. I stopped in shortly before 11 pm on a Friday night and even though the sign said they are open until midnight, all the lights were off and the owner was in her pajamas. She only allowed us to order takeout and asked us at least three times if we were ready to order while we were looking the menu over. It felt like she was trying to push us out as fast as possible. -And they used to have a bar but she said it is no longer open so we just waited outside for our food. She brought the food out to us and I asked if there was soy sauce. She said, "yes, it's in the box" then immediately turned around and went back in the restaurant. There were only two packets of soy sauce for quite a bit of food, so my husband went to ask for four more packets but she would only give him two. When we received our food, it was nice and hot but was lacking in flavor. I'm just very disappointed because we used to love this place and would frequently order delivery from here. It's just too hit and miss anymore and I choose to spend my money elsewhere. I sincerely hope they can turn it around and meet the standards they used to.
