I’m at the plasma center right now . I love coming here on my days Tuesday and Saturday are the best day ..there very nice people . I believe that what there doin for people around the world and the fact that my blood means something makes me appreciate life

Was in a tight spot so decided to donate, go in for the second time and they say I can’t because the bill I brought in the first time was too old. Except it was not. I show them the date, then they comment on my middle initial not being on MY WATER BILL. Why would they put my middle name on my utility bill. They then said, because my husbands name was also on the bill, I couldn’t use it. That’s not a thing. If I can go into the DMV for a drivers license and use a bill with mine and my husbands name, there is no precedence for a plasma center to turn me away. Literally all of our bills have both of our names on it. That’s what happened when you get married. Pretty convinced this dude was blowing smoke out of his ass. Funny how this wasn’t an issue the first time.

Average wait time in the lobby for a returning donor has been 2 hours the past few times I've gone. The place my husband donates at can get him in and out, the entire process, in an hour and a half. The Grove Street center has more donors than they can actually handle in a reasonable timeframe but they have outright refused to transfer any of them to a center that can process them in a timely manner. Petty.
