It's really bad business to have a policy that states that if you are later than 15 minutes past your appointment then they will rebook your appointment (or charge a $20 cancellation fee), but then your stylist is over 20 minutes past the appointment time then they want you to sit and wait and offer you coffee or water as a consolation. Thanks, but no thanks. Oh! And I'll be looking for my $20 gift card in mail. (Because your website says you'll give your client a $20 gift card if you have to cancel or reschedule.) Thanks!

STYLISTS BEWARE! This place is run illegally. They have a summit system set up to where basically your commission never goes up. They literally take 60% of your money. They charge you for extra color and if other stylists don't check out color that's already paid for. They also take 3% of your tips. Every meeting at this place is just a manipulated meeting to scare you into thinking that Tangles is the best salon to work that has all these benefits and it's not. There are other salons that at least give you 50% commission and don't rob you of your tips. Not only this but they also expect you to stay at the salon on a set schedule and will not pay you hourly if you're not making any money which is absolutely illegal. Also NOT FAMILY-FRIENDLY. Not only does the owner hate when kids come in but she does not care for any stylists family or time off.

Worst experience I've ever had. I'm in the military and went in yesterday with gel still in my hair. I told her my hair had been falling out from putting it up in a bun all the time. She washes my hair and brings me back to cut it. I told her I wanted to keep my length and only take off 2in at max and showed her several pictures of the way I wanted my layers done. I obviously can't have short layers because they won't work with putting it into military bun. First cut she makes took off about 4 in and she simultaneously started talking about how I should see a dermatologist about why my hair is falling out. I truly wish I had gotten up and walked out right then. I politely just told her I am also taking hormone medication currently(which isn't her business but I was trying to hint at shut up) and she keeps saying I should see a dermatologist anyways. 1) I am psychotic about taking care of my hair. 2) I have never had a hairdresser say ANYTHING aside from how much they love my hair. Aside from being rude, it got worse. She kept cutting shorter and shorter and VERY choppy. Then, she proceeded to tell me I should dye my hair or add just a streak of red into my hair to switch it up. First off- I am a natural strawberry blonde. You can't get my color in a box. I told her I would never do that because it would never be the same since I'm a natural redhead. She started referring to her gf that has natural red hair and she adds color all the time. Again, I continued hinting to her to stop talking by saying I'm in the military and I can't have random colors in my hair and that I wouldn't want to. I guess at this point she realized she had messed up my hair because she wound up curling it before I left(and guess who didn't use a heat protectant?) she obviously did not care about my hair falling out at that point. I immediately threw it up into a ponytail after I left because the curls looked like I was from the 1980s. So today, I went ahead and washed and straightened my hair just to see what it looked like and it is EXTREMELY uneven. I have some parts in the back that are the same length as my bangs to where it essentially looks like she just cut straight across. It is bad. I never leave reviews but if I had seen any warning like this in the reviews I never would have gone here. Here's to hoping I save someone else's hair at the very least since mine will take a very long time to grow back. (She wound up taking approx 5 in off in total and about 8/9in off some of the layers she created.) Extremely upset my regular hairdresser at salon360 wasn't available. If I figure out how to add pictures to this I will post those as well.

Everyone I've met there has always been nice and welcoming. Jackie cut my hair for the few years I went there. She is awesome!
