Listen, Barbara is probably the nicest human being alive. Also the vet and technicians are professional and kind and animal whisperers. If you like home improvement ideas, the lobby is full of cool hooks and benches and pup friendly tile. The bathroom has my all time favorite patterned tile. If you're lucky, I'll edit this to include a photo. Take your cat or dog here and be sure to tell Barbara the girl who cried on the phone last week is talking good things about her on Google. Yay kind friendly humans.

I've been to this place a couple times, and both times I just didn't feel very welcomed. No one greeted me upon entering. The vet techs don't seem to like dogs. One rolled her eyes when my dog was acting skittish (I mean come on!) and another was more worried about "should we muzzle her?" Never had that issue at other vets. They don't take time to get to know the animals or spend time making them comfortable. I didn't feel like I was really given much information about treatment options. I just felt like a "get 'em in, get 'em out" type of atmosphere, which is very different from the vet I used in GA. Can't say I'll be returning.

I will never agree with anyone taking there pet there. I took my dog there a couple of months ago. I was told he was bitten by a snake. After a few follow up visit I was told thing where looking good and I believed this to be true. A week ago I noticed the place on my dog neck was swelling again. I had to rush my dog to urgent care last night. The vet there inform me my dog has cancer not a Snake bite. So today at 8:30 I have called there office 4 hrs later no return call. Don't belive that call will come. So let see how the can ignore my in person visit. Stay tuned

Terrific vet clinic and staff! Every time we come they treat us so well and like members of the family. Our little doxie went blind suddenly overnight and needed several check up appointments after being seen at a specialist. Hope Mills Road Animal Hospital was welcoming and patient with us in answering every question we had, when the specialists would not. Bonus is that they have very reasonable rates. I would recommend them to anyone!

I really liked the vet here, but the last few visits felt like a cash grab. The staff pushed a $70 allergy medication on us and it cost another $100 to find out it made our dog sick. It was suggested that we purchase a $40 test prior to a dental cleaning, but the results would not come in until 10 days past the cleaning.
This is a business, I get that, but my two dogs are family, and I need to know that their care comes before the profit margin.

I also want to mention something that really bothers me. On the last visit I noted the kittens for adoption. I really support this, but when asked about the cone, I was told that the kitten was neutered and declawed to ensure he was an indoor cat. This is a bad practice, especially in a semi-rural area like Fayetteville.
