Twisted Vines is a very nice restaurant - tablecloths, uniformed waitresses in shirts and ties, pleasant service and an upscale atmosphere. The menu is a bit limited and the prices are a somewhat above moderate but the food is well prepared and the portions are adequate but not large. They have a nice wine list and their bread is superb.

We gave this place many tries. We really wanted to like it. I think over the span of 8 months, we ate there about 6 times. The first time was nice. Every time after that, we either had rude service, or they were out of what we ordered or we did not get what we ordered. One time a server told me that they cant make my steak medium plus because they have had 30 different chefs over the years and that's asking too much. He was very rude about it. And the last time we were there me and my guest had a wedge salad. They gave me 1/4 of a wedge and they have him 1/2 of a wedge. Which was confusing, why don't we have the same portion? We are paying for the same thing. Food was hit or miss each time. Last time, the scallops were good, but my boyfriends pork made him get sick when we got home. Oh, and we never received the appetizers we ordered and when we reminded her of them, she said we never told her. Anyway, we will not be going back.

I never knew about this place until my friends and I were walking around downtown Ft. Myers and stumbled upon it. What a neat place. Great atmosphere and the acoustics were pretty good for the music being played. I'll definitely be back.

The atmosphere in the restaurant is great and it is the newly renovated river district. They have a great view of the river. I love to go there an relax and have a couple drinks at the bar.
What I have eaten and recommend. The bread pudding the THE MOST FANTASTIC I have ever had. I wouldn't say I'm the biggest fan of bread pudding. I CANNOT put down this one. I love the espresso martini. No it is not made with espresso vodka. They actually use a real fresh espresso shot. The last thing we get is the cheese tray. It is a great appetizer or even a filling substitute for a meal. You get to choose from great exotic cheeses.
The rest of the menu is a little.pricey and I do not have experience with that. I do know that it is a high end establishment and you get what you pay for. I would recommend Twisted Vine very highly.

I took my mother her for her anniversary on a Monday evening, there was four of us. Waitress was very pleasurable and attentive. The table ordered Tuna Poke, Florida snapper and the pork special for the evening. We were all please with our selections and enjoyed the meals. I would return to this restaurant and recommend to my friends.
