We entered the restaurant on a Friday evening at 10pm and they close at 1030pm. The host approached us in a rather brusque fashion asking if we had a reservation....seriously...there were 14 open tables. We really need a reservation?
Once seated, we were handed the wine menu but not the food menu which we had to ask our waiter for. The waiter was standoffish bordering on rude. It felt as if they didn't want us in the restaurant so we drank our drinks and left. It was one of the most unpleasant experiences I've ever had. We will not be coming back.
On a positive note, we then went to Applebee's where the wait staff were friendly and attentive.

When I visit Fort Smith, this is the place to go for a great meal and warm welcome. Excellent wait staff, food is delicious.

21 West End is by far the best restaurant in the River Valley and the customer service was GREAT! Thank you to all the staff there that made my Night Amazing!

We had a delightful mid-week anniversary meal here. It couldn't have been better. We both had small filets with sautéed vegetables and shared a spinach salad. They'd asked if it was a special occasion and we reluctantly told them, yes, but no attention please! They brought us a complimentary dessert. We liked the fact that one may order a smaller portion or half order. This is a special place for a special celebration.

Intriguing experience, to say the least. Started with the most tender and savory mushroom beef wellington appetizer, arugula salad, and spinach salad (all SO tasty!). Then worked on sweet and tart blueberry duck with rosemary lemon risotto and chef's vegetables. Also ordered pork tenderloin with a side of perfectly cooked asparagus. Decided to sit at the bar, Brenan paired lovely wines alongside the meals, each with a unique description.
Topped it all off with fresh creme brulee that may have floated down from heaven.
The food, people, and environment created an artful scenery.
