As so many raters stated, this is my last time to eat here. Price way up, quality rock bottom Prices are unreal lunch buffet and a drink $15.00. Fried fish and fried most everything else. Good times here in past years are gone for good. This place won't make it much longer without major changes. In Ft. Smith I would recommend Sam's Southern Eatery. Better food, good views better prices.

I don't know how they are still in business. The food was so bad. Catfish frog legs green beans all very bad rolls were cold the only thing I enjoyed was the slaw. Even the salad bar was a joke. How do you need up salad but they did. Now for the kicker 2 people and the bill was $45.00. I won't ever be back!!!

I brought my daughter and grandson to Catfish Cove for the first time last Thursday and I was very pleasantly surprised for the meal that we got. We got the $10.99 special and there was more than enough food - none of us could finish all of it. It was good. I really like their catfish - and I'm particular about my catfish. I took a to-go menu!

Oh my. I've never eaten so much food in my entire life. I was BEYOND stuffed when we left. And I don't regret it (now). The food was nearly 100% incredible. Not a fan of the deep-fried corn on the cob, but whatever.
Baked fish, fried fish, shrimp, chicken tenders, catfish, green beans, cherry cobbler, ice cream. It was all good.
Service was spectacular - southern hospitality in western Arkansas. :)

I have been a big fan of Catfish Cove for many years, but was highly disappointed on my last visit. Generally, my family and myself eat at this establishment at least once every couple of months. I have noticed the price of the Sunday lunch buffet has ballooned to about 13.00. Which, I am more than willing to pay a little extra and totally understand due to the rising cost of goods and overhead. However, when the quality of food does not reflect the increasing price, there is a problem. The food on the buffet is different than what it used to be. The catfish tastes cheap, as does the shrimp. It is my understanding that this restaurant has recently changed hands. I hope the new owners understand that a landmark establishment, such as Catfish Cove, cannot afford to lower their standards when it comes to quality. I guess we will wait and see what happens to this place in the future, but I truely hope that it gets turned around.
