Holy Moly!! What took me so long to try this place?? My wife and I came for dinner prior to going to Bass Hall (walking distance) and I can’t find one thing bad to say.
As of others have said, the service was impeccable! We let them know we have to go to Bass and they rushed their orders and make sure we got there in time.
We started off with the Toad in the Hole. Just do it!
My wife ordered the scallops. They were off the charts and would actually filly me up (I’m 6’3, 225lbs). You won’t get any dainty scallops here!
I chose the stuffed filet which was cooked to perfect and bursting with flavor (but not overbearing).
For our sides we went with the Mac and cheese and brussel sprouts. Both were fantastic.
For desert we went with the butterscotch pudding/ice cream. I’m not a huge desert eater but since everything was so good, we had to try, and just as everything else, it didn’t disappoint. Was to die for!
If you haven’t tried Grace, do it! It’s now on our top list of places to go for dinner!

Tonight, while out with my family in Downtown Fort Worth we had a horrible encounter with two restaurants. …. While walking in downtown FT Worth, and contemplating on what restaurant we wanted to go to. Our children sat down on a bench outside of Grace Bar. While talking among each other, not bothering anybody, the manager( in a rather sarcastic & rude manner)asked our children to get up from the seats, and then turn around and told us that they were messing up the chairs by sitting down in them past business hours. HUH???? Come again??? I thought chairs were meant to sit down in, besides, the chair were literally out in the open not locked up or anything (SMH) ….But let me get on with this story because it gets worst. While continuing to walk down the strip, we ran across Jake’s Burger & Beer, so we decided to stop there. No sooner we walked in; we were told (before we were greeted) that it closed in one minute, by a bartender by the name of Brittany. I asked to speak with a manager, and while expressing myself to her on the service and the manner of which we were treated, not once did she apologize. In fact, as we were walking out, the next group of people walked in, and they were Caucasian, and not only were they greeted but also sat with no problem. I immediately said “Ma’am I though ya’ll closed in one minute”, and then she stated that “they actually closed in 10mins”. We grabbed a business card and left. I thank God for self-control because I WAS MAD, but I refused to give them what they wanted, which is a reaction. While leaving, I looked back and I could see the manager (Samantha) laughing smh. As I type this, I am livid, and it sucks because it really doesn’t have to be this way if we didn’t live in such a hateful world. We live in one were the color of YOUR skin defines your worth in society, or determines your acceptance in society….#Gracebar who’s allowed to sit in your chairs? #JakesBurgersandBeers is there a certain time in which a particular “group” of people are to stop being served? #holdthemaccountable #iamsickofit #theywontevergetmybusiness

Nice fine dining experience, however, there are better restaurants, with better food, at half the price. Skimpy on the wine, food was over salted, wine list by the glass was poor. Service and dining experience were 5 stars, but the overall value was a 3.

Had a late dinner here, I thoroughly enjoyed the Cowboy Ribeye, $50+, but worth it! The meat was very tender and showed the stringy-like quality that one expects from a properly aged steak. Will definitely be on the list for special occasions.

While not without faults, this was the best meal I had in Fort Worth. The service was exceptional. I found the dining room to be a little stuffy and formal, but not uncomfortable. The meal starts with warm bread and good butter. At this price point I feel you are allowed to nit pick...So I will say that the sweet potato soup was slightly bland and the scallops ate quite salty. I quite enjoyed myself.
