My little dog was nervous about the big dogs there but the people there took good care of their dogs kept them under control and we're very polite and nice to talk to.
There's plenty of water for the dogs there are big bowls of it and there's places where you can get rid of the p..py once you have picked it up.
All in all it's a really nice place to visit.

I have been coming here since 1999. My dogs get all of their annual shots. If you don't know what shots your dog needs and your vet doesn't know then maybe you should change vets. Some self important vets and county workers seem to want to shut down this park, they are IDIOTS. It's a very good place to go great people, great dogs, good times

We come here a lot. Dogs love it. People are nice.

The dog park is in a ponding basin, giving dogs a large open field of grass to play on. The grass is kept well watered and regularly mowed. There are trash cans and pooper scoopers for cleaning up after dogs. There are plastic chairs and kiddie pools so the dogs can cool off. It can be crowded, especially at 10am, but the dogs are friendly and playful. Parking can be hard to find as there is no parking lot.

Well, since you asked... Look if you're reading reviews about dog parks you're pretty serious about your furry faced friend or you're curious about what sort of people you might find there. Here's the skinny and please note that compare and contrast is being used to "illustrate" not to cast any preference or judgment.
It is not "Woodward Park" like, you know, set on a hill, lacking for grass or trees. It is a pounding basin in the midsts of an industrial park just south of the W. Shaw Costco area. You park near a curb. There is a leashing cage. They have three or four kiddy pools, drinking pails and functional water hoses. You'll find a few plastic chairs and a picnic table in need of work/replacing. People are friendly and interactive. Most dogs are well behaved or doing there level best. As I mentioned, it's a ponding basin so expect big trees around the perimeter and wide open grass in the middle. Gates never lock (in season) but lights turn off at.... I wanna say 10, so a flash light is handy if you're working doubles or showing up after it cools off. It works for us so that's where we go. If you do too, please keep both gates shut and remember, please pick up your lawn deposits.
