Terrible care. They don't listen. Go to community hospital! My non verbal special needs daughter choked on a game piece and my wife told them and showed them exactly what was stuck in her throat. It's a plastic game piece which was still lodged in her asophagus and they simply send her home. They xrayed her knowing plastic doesnt show up on an xray. Now after 3 hours of incompetent care we are going to community. Only went to st. Mary's because it was closer. that will no longer be the case. Go to community. They won't waste your time or leaving you feeling less than helped. I can speak from 2 other emergency situations this year that their care is GREAT at community hospital!

Baby friendly hospital? They just care about Monet having nice rooms fir mothers and babies. But plase make a favor to yourself and be very carefully. I got a C section and they ruin my life. I was with drugs for pain so may baby go and they gave me a nipple shield because the baby didn't latch. But of course he was under the medication effects. They I barely try to haul me breast-feed my baby and they just gave me the nipple shot and they also offer me formula the first day without trying to help me to breast-feed my baby. After that he got nipple Confusion, after eight weeks I have been using a tooth to try to feed my baby from my breast, just because they didn't have the patience to help me to let my baby my breast. Which hospital baby friendly offer your formula the first hours of your baby without even helping you to try to latch him

This hospital is a joke. The entire staff from security, registration nurses, to the entire crew in the er. They let the emergency room waiting room fill up without taking anyone back and then the moment you do get into a room you have to wait hours for a nurse to come in and see you. The hospital is absolutely filthy. The bathroom reminds me of a truck stop. I was afraid for my kids to touch anything as everything was disgusting. Highly recommend not to go there and find a new place to go.

Just wanted to post my heartfelt thanks to Joyce at the gift shop. I called from California to ask her to put together some flowers and a stuffed animal to cheer up my beloved nephew who had been in a serious bike injury. She went out of her way to help me and the gift was delivered in less than an hour!! She was so very kind and her patience was extraordinary. Couldn't thank her enough!

The birth of my granddaughter was a good experience (with the exception of the cold on-call midwife, which was not the hospital's fault). Thank goodness for the WONDERFUL nurse who was such a comfort to my daughter during delivery, while she tried not to step on the mid-wife's cold toes! The rooms are wonderful, bright, huge windows, very private and large. The on-call pediatrician was very professional and excellent, and Dr. Annette Rosling was FANTASTIC; attentive, concerned, forthright and straightforward. My only suggestion is that the nurses and attendants receive more training on how to look patients and families in the eye, even when something is clearly not quite right with a baby. The lack of eye contact was noticeable and hard to handle as we navigated the baby's issues. There is no need to falsely reassure etc, just make contact and show empathy for the scary situation. Thank you
