I liked going here to see movies for $3. But the food was overpriced and old. The placd needed major updating.

I'm pretty sad about this place being gone as it was nice to go see something during the evening for $3 or less. I don't have any intention of supporting the Marcus theaters as my replacement (Their prices? **** them!!!), but I'll have to do with Family Video for the time being as long as there's still a video store I can rent from.

Thanks for the memories, you will be missed.

Update 2/8/2017- Unfortunately, as of 2/9/2017, Budget Cinema will be closing its doors forever. A branch of the Brown County Library will be occupying this location sometime later this year.

Original Post 2/2017 - Still the best every day value for movies. Yes, this theater is older, and yes, it doesn't have all of the newer theater toys, but it still a great value.

Seats are a bit worn but a great place to watch movies at a discount. Carries the usual movie concession items. No complaints about sound and picture quality.

I love the option to go to discount movies. The staff are polite. Great popcorn! The screens are understandably a little dated.
