I travel to green bay for a month each year and visit Al's at least a dozen times during that time. It's a lovely friendly place to eat! First class breakfasts and burgers !!

Awesome new owner and staff. Been eating here since 1960s. Hamburger, fries, huge malt all for $10.50. Super kind and pretty waitresses. Great experience! Support your local business!

Little different feel than before but I would argue it's almost better in some ways. Burgers are of a newer culinary style but taste great and have some cool ingredient choices. Ventilation is much better too, nice to not smell like grease afterwards, some would argue that was a form of cologne though ;)

Amazingly delicious hamburgers. The bun was clearly lightly toasted. The patty was juicy and flavorful. I ordered a super plain burger and it was still shockingly good. Each of the sides I tried (cheese curds, fries and tator tots) left nothing to be desired.
The place is tiny, but it's worth the wait if seats are full. Would almost call it a dive bar, but it's too clean and well lit. Do be aware that everything is a la carte, so you must order everything you want; there are no preset meals.
