The food is good but the whole claim of vegan food is a stretch, maybe 2 items, you have to check to make sure. It's a nice atmosphere but the food has gone downhill drastically in the last couple years

Great place to go have a cup of coffee and get some work done or just relax and have breakfast or lunch. Amazing coffee, pastries and food, not your basic combinations.

The sandwiches and wraps were great which is why they are getting 2 stars, otherwise it would have been 1. Were very disappointed in the Pumpkin Spice latte (which had to be returned and the replacement was only marginally better) The sweet potato fries were partially uncooked and not even warm with way too much pepper on them. We returned the fries and the ones they brought out seemed similar and were cold. We ended up throwing them all away! We have loved Kavarna for a quite a while, but the last 2 visits the quality seems to have gone down. Each time the coffee arrives it is only tepid. I prefer a nice hot cup of coffee that I can sip over time, not one that is just over room temperature that I can chug the minute I get it or it gets cold. Will probably not be back.

Just left, did not get a chance to even try their coffee. The girls working stood behind swinging door chatting and giggling while we waited at the front counter for almost 5 minutes, no one came out and even acknowledged us so we left. We could clearly hear their personal conversations. Looked like a nice place and nice coffee menu but need to find some better workers than the bunch acting like 15 year old girls

Great on winter days, but perfect on super hot summer days, too.
Stopped in for an informal business meeting on a Wednesday afternoon. We enjoyed an iced latte, a lemonade (with rosewater...so good), and a mocha milkshake. The temp outside was 91. We had some baked goods... cheesecake and a gluten-free macaroon. Awesome.
Perfect for alone time, a date, a group meeting or even a small event. Huge space, super chic decor, pleasant staff, and friendly patrons.
Park behind and use the back entrance, park on the street, or park/bike a few blocks away and enjoy Kavarna after some shopping or exploring on Broadway.
