Ordered a beet salad with salmon from the bar TO GO... it’s close to 40 minutes later and I still don’t have my food... bartender hasn’t even asked if I wanted a drink while waiting. Hope this salad is worth the wait.
Update: this isn’t even a beet salad... it’s a salad with beets. Big difference.

Holy mother of all brunches! Everything was insanely good. The mimosas, the bloody Mary bar, the GRAVY. Everything is amazing. Seriously, get 1 of everything, then check out the shop! So many local goodies. It's exactly the type of place you want to patron.

So much potential here! Market is cool. Cocktail and beer menus are above average. Many dishes lack flavor.
And stop bothering me by clearing dishes of my table when we are finishing a meal or trying to pay. Are you in such a hurry?

After some debate about whether The Cannery deserves a star for a stylish atmosphere, I am giving my first one star review. Unfortunately the Edison lights and industrial chic style of this restaurant cannot redeem my experience.
After our meal, my family and I left disappointed and wasted a lot of time. Ultimately I feel our poor experience was a result of disorganization: poor balance of staff and food not leaving the kitchen at a reasonable rate (especially considering how many people were working in the open kitchen). And sadly the food quality did not live up to the restaurant's farm to table descriptor. Read on for my experience:
We waited about 45 minutes for a table (this place must be popular right?) but upon entering there were quite a few open tables and they seemed to only be seating guests at a few tables. I later noticed they seemed to have 1 waitress, a host and hostess, and about 10 cooks in the kitchen.
It was restaurant week so my family (parents and aunt) ordered off the restaurant week menu which included a soup or salad, entree, and dessert. I am vegetarian but to my disappointment this farm to table restaurant did not offer many vegetarian options, somethings could be made veg by taking away toppings, and there was no veg lunch for restaurant week. So I ordered an entree cesar salad but subbed the dressed.
This is where our whole meal started to fall apart. After about 45 minutes my family's appetizers came to the table. My father and aunt said their soup was fine and my mother's salad arrived at the table undressed (we were informed it was a "very light dressing"). My entree salad arrived with the family's entrees. It was on a small side sized plate with one cherry tomato cut in half, a house pickled pepper cut into 3 pieces, and 2 or 3 croutons. One piece of lettuce was still dirty - not the part of the farm I want on the table. My dad said his burger was fine, but my mom and aunt who ordered the turkey baguette sandwich said the bread was so hard they could barely chew it and the meat had bad flavor and was dark meat (which they were not informed of on the menu). My mom and I eat at the French bakery in our hometown so we know about chewy baguettes, and if she says her bread was too hard it must have been like a rock. Oh, on the side the family received fries with their entrees. They were alright, a bit grease laden, but we all ate them because the portions were small and by this point we were pretty hungry. The meal ended with dessert which was similarly disappointing. The shortcakes in my aunt's strawberry shortcake and my parents' chocolate cake were all hard as if they had been sitting out.
We did talk to the waitress about our issues and she brought us a manager who offered to change our bill and assured us the baked goods were made same day. But after waiting for our bill to return for about 15 or 20 minutes we had to track down the waitress and manager to pay because there was also a mix up on who should bring it to us.
Not coming back!
