Massage Envy

The first few times I had nothing bad to say. It was a very nice experience. My normal therapist was no longer there so I tried someone new last month, she was nice, but I left feeling like I came in. So yesterday I went with someone else, a guy, with more deep tissue massage as I was really tense. This was he worst experience I have ever had getting a massage and I have had many!!!! He was rude from the start. He acted like he didn't want to be there. Not once did he ask me how the pressure was or anything. He did not put a hot towel on my back like normal, just started "digging" in. At one point I had cringed because of the pain and said it was a little rough. The massage didn't get better the whole 90 minutes, but I thought well maybe it was the right pressure to get the tension in the muscles loose, as I am not tense to a little pressure. Then I had gotten the foot salt scrub. Wow. Is all I can say. First the towels were so hot I think I could have jumped. Then he scrubbed the salt so rough it probably took a layer of skin off. When done he said he would meet me out with a glass of water, he never did. I went to the front, they asked how it was and I was so nostalgic I said eh I'll let you know tomorrow if I'm hurting or not. My response Did not seem to be a concern to any one at the counter. I left. 6 hours later I could barely move, couldn't get out of bed. When showering today I noticed my entire back was bruised. No wonder it hurts to the touch! Second guessing using my membership anymore.

Lounge could use a update. Very friendly staff, but can be a bit pushy on membership. Some of the therapist are a bit chatty, but are very nice and will adjust to your requests! There have been times where the lotion was cold, maybe have warmer? Best part is before they massage the upper back they use a hot towel to heat up and moisten the skin! Great overall experience and definitely recommend to all! 《Will update with pictures on next visit》

All in all it was a great massage. My only downsides were that it became a bit cold in part way through the massage. When the masseuse first put the massage lotion on my back, it was cold, so could have done with it being pre-heated lotion. Also, maybe a little bit too much conversation I think.

I did not have the experience, and have never seen anyone try to "push" a membership on someone. Every therapist I have had was excellent. They work very hard at scheduling when you are available, and are flexible. They really cater to each individual from the minute you step into the door to the minute you leave. The atmosphere is pleasant, quiet and serene and it is a very clean facility. And I often give a gift certificate as gifts to people – and those people have had no complaints. I recommend them highly
