I went to Dr. Brechtelsbauer under a referral because I have mixed hearing loss. I have had several sets of hearing aids over the last 40 years and none seemed to help with the type of loss I was dealing with. When I went to Dr. Brechtelsbauer he recommended the BAHA implant. He did the surgery to put the screw in and it seemed forever to wait for the area to fuse and heal for me to get the BAHA device. It was only 4 months but the time couldn't go fast enough for me. The day finally came and I returned to get the hearing device. I can hear so many things that I haven't ever heard or don't remember ever hearing. He did such a good job with the surgical part and he answered every question that I had with extreme patience. I can't possibly express how thankful I am that he saw my need and recommended this as the solution.
