I always enjoy going to PetSmart because I am a HUGE animal lover and because all the employees are so helpful. When I ask for help, I get it. Friendly and courteously. And I get to see the pets who come in!!!!

Decent prices and great selection however, they show they stock a particular item but every time I go it's not in stock. If it's been discontinued, take it off the shelf!!

I have spent over $40 on fish in the last month and they continue to die once I bring them home. My water has been tested by a kid that they recommended I buy from their store and it tests perfect. But when I bring the dead fish into the store and my water they refused to reimburse me stating that there's a problem with my water. When I go home and retest my water with the kit that they advised I buy my water is still perfect but I have $40 worth of dead fish. So much for their 14-day guarantee. I have had aquariums my whole life and I'm not new to what needs to be done with aquariums and I'm very disappointed by the way I've been treated by this PetSmart. I went to another pet store in town bought a couple fish from them and they are doing just fine. I also have three dogs and other things that I buy supplies for it PetSmart but I will no longer be purchasing any of my supplies from the store.

I went in to get a harness since my dog chewed up the last one. I decided to ask one of the associates for help on suggestions as to how it should fit or which ones where durable. I asked an older associate if someone could assist me and she asked me what I needed. I told her I was looking for a harness and she immediately started telling me that a harness shouldn't be left on a dog because they will chew it and that I wouldn't find one that he wouldn't chew and that I could fit the harnesses on my dog on my own. She kept interrupting me every time I wanted to tell her that I know he will chew but I just want SUGGESTIONS on some good ones. She completely ignored me so I went off on my own to try and fit some on my dog since she clearly did not want to help. As I was trying them on him she would walk by and make comments like "he needs a medium or a large" and would quickly walk away without letting me ask anything else. She came by a second time and trying to sell me a $7 harness (which is the one he chewed) but she would have known that if she just had listened to me at the beginning. And then she immediately walked away again. She wasn't assisting anyone else; she was just walking around the store so I don't see why she couldn't have helped me. Bottom line, she made my experience very frustrating to which I decided to grab a harness and just try it on my dog at home and return it if it doesn't fit appropriately. I really wish I could remember her name but I won't be going back just because I don't want to run into her again.
