In deep need of a Church Home, I was led to Goodwin Memorial by the Holy Spirit. (I'd been experiencing promptings for some months). After 4 months of joy, happiness and utter peace within the walls of Goodwin, it hit me that I had to walk past another church to get to Goodwin. I only wondered at it for a moment...I know this is God's will.

My husband and I love our Church Home. I remember last year when we joined Goodwin. It felt like home. The welcome was warm and inviting. Our Pastor James D. Jackson and our First Lady, Lady Lisa Jackson welcomed us as if they knew us. It felt like home. It's been this way since we joined. It's now one year and it it just keeps getting better. We have a good time all the time.Goodwin Memorial Baptist Church is truly a Church Blessed to be a Blessing . If you have not had the ultimate church experience, come on over to Goodwin. Welcome Home. We have so many wonderful ministries to join. You can be of service in any of the ministries. For example, we have Mine Ministry, Praise Dance Ministry, Culinary Ministry Music Ministries. The list goes on and on. And I can go on and on, so I'll stop here.
