I had this insurance at one time for my car and I was glad I could cancel the policy because this company was horrible.

7/27 I was in my first accident. Talked to an adjuster the next day. She is very pleasant to deal with. 8/1 car was deemed totaled. Called my adjuster with the information she requested. Then about 10 days later I received a phone call from IAAI saying they needed the same information. a day or two goes by and they called me to tell me some of the information was wrong. I assured them it was all correct. Another 10 days follows only to find out that they needed more paper work. So, i filled it out and sent it back. The next day, I get a call saying that due to a clerical error needed to redo the paperwork AGAIN. Here i sit over 1 month without a car and I am still waiting on a pay off from the settlement. All I can say is, Penn National is HORRIBLE!

The worst company I've worked with in a long time. Despite giving 2 weeks of notice for cancellation, they withdrew my monthly payment. Then they took 2 weeks to get me a check in the mail. After I finally received it, it's no where near what they withdrew from my account. I'd love to call tonight, it's 5:05 pm, but they have the worst customer service hours I've ever encountered. I'll have to wait until tomorrow to get everything fixed, and then weeks after that to actually receive the correct check. This is a ridiculous & manipulative company.

Btw I went with geico, and instead of charging me 420 a month it's now 160. That's with better coverage than before.

Also, last year I totaled my car from a large deer and this company made an already stressful situation 5x's worse.

Zero stars.

No one ever answers the phones and it has taken now, 3 weeks to write me a check for my car thst was deemed totaled. Not only do we not have the money for our car but now they are demanding we take the rental back! Like why am I being inconvenienced!?!?

Hit a deer 12/28..my car is still in the shop. Took a day for appraiser then because of the new year holiday the shop received the approval on the 3rd. Ran into additional expenses the appraiser has to come back and the shop is waiting once again! In the meantime my rental ran out and the adjuster says nothing they can do and I rented the cheapest car now I'm paying out of pocket ..reasonable premiums but pray you don't have a claim.
