It is pretty decent fried chicken. The decor could use a freshing up. It is what is.
To the local guide who gave one 🌟 for being in the hood and for no other reason - shame on you for not judging a restaurant on the quality food but because it somewhere where poor and brown people live. Local Cracker - more than local guide.

Let me start by saying, the only items on the menu which you can get "Halal" are the Fried Chicken, the Philly Cheese steak, and the Gyro. As far as taste goes, it was not bad. The reason for the lower rating tho is attributed to the quality of the place. I tried to place an order over the phone for pickup, and I was told to come in and order so everything will be made fresh. I asked how long that would take as I would rather have the food ready to pick up when I reach. I was told 6-8 mins is all the time needed. I said, ok sure... Within 10 mins I can wait. The problem though, although I was the ONLY customer there, it took 30 mins to get the food ready. I mean I understand them not taking orders over the phone due to the extremely shady location and possibly prank callers who never pick up the food, but don't lure in a customer promising fast service and keep them waiting so long.
Secondly, having ordered 5 pieces of chicken and 6 wings, one would expect the courtesy on behalf of the people to not end up giving you 2 more wings in the 5 piece box, essentially sending me home with 8 wings and just 3 pieces of chicken, that too from what seemed like a 2 pound chicken. Needless to say upon reaching home and seeing this, it wasn't enough food compared to what one would normally get from somewhere like Crown fried chicken which this seemed to be an offshoot of.
The personnel working there though were nice, not rude or anything... And as I said the food didn't taste bad per say, hence getting 3 stars rather than 1 star. It may be a good option for Halal Fried chicken, if you are willing to wait for the food, give specific instructions of what exactly you want, and double check what you end up getting.
Lots of room for improvement, and I really do hope they improve...
