Food was reasonable and tender. I throughly enjoyed myself at this little diner. We will be going back. Please ask for chanel or kathleen (kat) they are wonderful and cheery. Good dispositions and have a wholesome attitude for making everyone at ease. Try again under new waitress staff. Give it one more try for.me ok!!!!

I don't normally write reviews, but this experience warrants one. Can't decide which was worse...the service or the food.

It started when 2 of us from a party of 7 got there. We stood unattended by the door for several minutes before even being acknowledged. Once we said there would be 7, the waitress acted annoyed and said she didn't know if she'd have anywhere we would all fit. We wouldn't have minded waiting for something large enough to open up if that would have been the case, but it was not full, and there were plenty of places where it was easy to push 2 tables together. She did so, but the location she placed us was still not quite large enough to comfortably seat 7 people, but we made do. Instead of walking us to the table with menus, she said "you can go sit there," and pointed across the restaurant to our table.

Understandably so, no one paid much attention to us since the whole party hadn't arrived yet. This wasn't a big deal, but it would have at least been nice to give us menus and ask if we would like a drink while we wait. But it was okay because we were amused by the 2 waitresses on staff literally running around the restaurant and telling everyone how busy it was, and how they had too many large groups coming in! (It was not even close to being full. And it was a Saturday at breakfast time so they probably should have been prepared for more people).

Once the whole group arrived, we still were not acknowledged. After about 10 minutes of sitting there, we finally asked someone if we could get some menus. They said they didn't come over yet because we didn't tell them that everyone was there. But we got our menus and ordered our drinks. My 11-year old brother ordered hot chocolate. He said that it tasted weird, so I tried some. It had colorful bubbles on top that looked like there was dish soap in it. The hot chocolate was the worst I've ever tasted - didn't even taste like chocolate. Once the waitress finally came back, we did have it replaced with a chocolate milk and were not charged for it which was nice.

We ordered our food, and waited for it to arrive. Once it was ready, the waitress brought it out piece by piece as if she didn't have a tray? Again, not a big deal but sort of strange. We also had to remind her about a few sides that never arrived. Once all the food had arrived, we had to point out to the waitress that we had yet to receive any silverware. She came running (literally running - something that seemed to be a theme among the waitresses) across the restaurant with a pile of mis-matched silverware in her hands, and proceeded to tell a long story about how they were way too busy to roll them as she plopped them on a pile in the center of the table.

I had scrambled eggs and tater tots, both of which tasted like they were covered in onions (I didn't have any actual onions on my plate). The tots were so bad that I didn't eat more than a few of them. The sausage was decent, but slightly overcooked. The 2 omelettes that were ordered by our table were less than fantastic. Everything was just very underwhelming, and served on mis-matched plates that looked very old and worn.

I love diners and am okay with the "homey" feel with a fairly "unrefined" environment. I also understand that you get what you pay for, but this was not restaurant quality. I have a history of customer service and some restaurant experience, and this was unacceptable. We gave them feedback while we were there, but they kept just using the excuse of how busy they were for everything.

On top of all of this, the restaurant could use a good cleaning. Everything just felt dirty - the floors, the tables, the seats, the silverware, etc. I would not recommend this diner, and will not be going back.

The waitress Cindy is professional, polite, efficient. Also very helpful and nice to my Diabetic mom. One of the main reasons I go there. Meals priced very reasonable.

Wish I could give them zero stars at the moment . I called in trying to get myself some breakfast the waiter instantly got nasty with me off of the first question which was "how do the breakfast platters come" I then asked her if they had beef bacon and she said to me "beef does not come as bacon it only comes as a steak" then shes had the audacity to hang up on me and not answer my 3 phone calls so I had to call from a different number. I usually order from there during lunch time and never had an experience like this, I will never invest my money into this diner ever again.
