It was disgusting! I found bugs in the burger meat ! I complained to the owner and he told me it happens. DO NOT EAT HERE!

I have been here once before and that visit wasn't stellar but this one was nearly unacceptable. Although we were greeted and sat quickly and courteously, we were quickly forgotten about once we ordered our drinks and appetizer. We waited over a half an hour after ordering our appetizer and had completely finished it before we were asked if we would like to order something else (it was dinner time, of course we did). We ordered a cheeseburger which was on the menu as coming with bacon and onion rings, a fried buffalo chicken wrap, a side of "home made" corn bread, and a side of macaroni and cheese which was a "house specialty." First we were told there was no pasta for the macaroni and cheese; a disappointment, but I said to forget about it. Then we were told the chef had not prepared any corn bread for the day so that was also unavailable; again disappointing, but whatever, I didn't need it. Next we were told by our waitress that she felt bad we had waited so long for food and asked if we wanted anything to hold us over; okay sure, I'll have a cup of clam chowder (come to find out I was CHARGED for this after the hassle I had already been through). Our meals finally come and the burger has no cheese, no onion rings, and no bacon - we could hear the chef arguing with the waitress about how we had ordered something that was named differently. The wrap was grilled chicken with no buffalo sauce - we could hear the chef arguing with the waitress about how there was buffalo sauce in there and I just couldn't see it (but he did end up making me another one - it was lackluster, as was the burger which ended up over cooked). I may be a dumb firefighter who was drawn to this restaurant for obvious reasons, but I CAN read a menu even if the chef can't. The only pro to the evening was the very good Captain and Cokes the bartender made, this is probably the reason I decided to just pay for our meals and leave as soon as the check came (funny how we didn't have to wait for that to get taken care of).
