Always go here on our way to and from NY. Great Italian food, pasta and meatballs are my favorite.

Some of the staff tries to be friendly but 50% seem to be just there just going through the motions. Food is below mediocre, calimai was under cooked, most restaurants are supplied with fozen claimari... deep frying is not a deep dark science. Pizza is blackened, Pasta is bland and all the dishes as way too oily. Eggplant is bitter to the point of inpalleeltability. The prices are slightly above the going rate in downtown Hartford but here in comparison to service and food it is grossly an overcharge.

Come here six times a year (live an hour away) and am always happy. Fried brussel sprouts , broccoli rabe, and kale Caesar are consistently great. Bartenders are always friendly .

Their pizza has gone downhill. It's still good but it's a lot greasier than it was. Service is good though.
