Dr. Rick is a GREAT dentist! He keeps up with the newest technology and techniques to keep all of us scaredy cats that lived through some rotten old time dentists comfortable and calm. He quickly repaired a really damaged back molar for me that I had no hope of saving! He gave me Novocain with The Wand--no needle!! Both my adult children changed to this practice. The professional, polite hygienists at Dr. Rick's practice are gentle and kind, and that is a big plus for younger people. The courteous and patient reception team of A, A and P will get you scheduled, and remind you by phone or email. The office is conveniently located in Elmwood section of West Hartford, on a street right across from the new Pepe's Pizza and Elmwood Bakery. It is so very close to the West Farms mall.
By the way, the Novocain had worn off, by the time I left the office. Thanks, Dr. Rick, for investing in The Wand!!! I am on my 25th year with this practice, and I plan on staying another 25!!!

I just moved to Hartford last year and was dreading finding a new dentist as I have had some bad experiences in the past. My first appointment was, if you can believe it, enjoyable. I never thought I would say that about going to the dentist. His bedside manner is great and he is really knowledgeable as well. He went the extra mile to answer all my questions and give advice for dealing with several problems like grinding and halitosis. Would highly recommend him.

Dr. Rick is a wonderful dentist. My 14 year old son was ready to stop going to the pediatric dentist and needed a more grown up place to go for his regular dental checkups and hygienist care. The office is friendly, professional and very clean. Dr. Rick took a lot of time to explain things to my son. He is extremely attentive and has a wonderful personality. Since going to Dr. Rick, my son has become conscientious about brushing and flossing (I don't need to remind him at all any more). I am very pleased with Dr. Rick and his staff. Thank you. Dr. Rick is also a very involved citizen in the Elmwood section of West Hartford. He has done a lot to improve the quality of the area.
