Googled ‘eats around me’ and WOW that was tasty! The jerk chicken and bbq ribs were succulent 😋 I got a side of Mac and cheese and I loved it! The sides of rice and beans and even the boiled cabbage were outstanding! Do not miss this place when ur hungry 🍽

When I'm in the Hartford area, I make sure to stop at Carl's for lunch. Authentic and delicious. Jerk chicken with rice (the gravy is amazing) could change your life.

Omg best Jamaican restaurant out and the staff is so joyful. They get busy, with clients of all ethnicities, it’s beautiful to see. I always get great service and the food is AMAZING!!!

I was in the area and stopped here because of the good reviews. I ordered the curry chicken. It came with rice & beans and cabbage which was fine, however, the chicken was hard on the edges as if it was old and it was mostly bones . I've had much better Curry chicken. I wouldn't recommend the curry chicken, try something the other reviews say is good.

This is a small place, but it has great fresh food. The owner and his wife are extremely friendly and make food quickly but with high quality. The lunch portions here are extremely generous and I usually get them even for dinner. The jerk chicken, jerk pork, and oxtail are my favorites. I will add that the parking is limited, but right across the street is a lot that can be used, you just need to cross the street.
