And if you can actually eat a whole Franklin Giant grinder in one sitting god bless ya
They are famous for a reason
I highly recommend you try this place out for yourself
My ultimate favorite is their Chicken Cutlet
Along with a 32 ounce chug a mug of Bud
The best grinders in Connecticut

Normally not type to post bad reviews but today's service was absolutely horrendous I love this place and when the 2 ladies are in during the week I never have an issue today was my first Sunday going and never again my slice of pizza was burnt and hard among the meatball grinder being cold I live 2min away so it shouldn't be cold as soon as I got home and served. Not happy at all with the service not to mention the man snatched the money to the point I was so upset I said keep the change just to walk out before I gave someone a piece of my mind the chubby Hispanic female didn't even know the price and had to get someone else even after I said the price is written right on top of the box smh not happy at all with this place I was craving it because I am pregnant and just am so upset at the service I received

Amazing food. The bread is ALWAYS fresh!! The meatball grinder is my personal favorite. Franklin Giant Grinder is one of the original grinder shops on Franklin Ave, they have been around since I was a child, that alone tells you this place is Great!!!

Started eating here late 80's or early 90's but after moving hadn't been here in a few years. Returned to get my favorite of all grinders - the chicken cutlet. It was still incredible - 3 to 4 layers of tender chicken, cheese, red and green peppers, and sauce. A half grinder can easily feed two people. I got an extra one to take home and it was a little dry - I'm sure you can ask for a little extra sauce on the side.
