Went to this spot on Sunday. I wanted my 6 yr old son to experience the way the chef cooks on the hibachi grill. This I explained to the hostess. The establishment was not at all busy, but she said to me "There's no one on the grills at the time." I was a little confused and allowed them to seat us at a table in the front corner. If you look up, you'll see that the window and wall area is covered in spider webs and dead insects. Anyways, about 10mins after being seated I hear banging and singing coming from behind the wall. I look around, I realize my son and I are the only people seated in the main front area. There was one other couple to come in after us and even they weren't seated up front with us. I got up and asked the hostess for their restroom, she was hesitant but eventually directed to it. I walk behind the wall where the hibachi grills and seats were, and found several seats and grills were occupied with non minority patrons. I go back to the hostess and asked why my son and I (who were at the time the only African Americans there) weren't allowed to be seated there. This lying winch going to say "I told you to be seated there, you'd have to pay at minimum $25 and you said no!" GIRL BYE!!! NO Body comes there and eat let alone spend less than $25. Stop lying. You half peeked back there and said no cooks were available at the grill. I kept my compulsure and retook my seat. I wanted to leave, but my son wanted to stay. Turns out, he took one taste of his food and I couldn't get him to eat the rest. My sesame chicken was covered in thick canned sweet and sour sauce. Anyways, I went to pay my bill and my waitress followed me to the register. She stood there and watched me pay my bill and then held her hand out for a tip. O.M.G.!!! WOW! Smh. I have never experienced anything so horribly horrific in my life. The WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!

The wait staff was very attentive and everything we ordered off the image rich menu was amazing! We wanted to eat outside and they brought two tables together so my wife, son and I could eat comfortably since there were only 2 person tables available. A must in WeHa Center for sure!!!!

Great hibachi experience! Very entertaining, food was excellent too. Very generous portions, went with a large party, service was speedy. Would return again soon!

Today was my first time there and probably will be my last. Although the food was good, the service was not. The biggest turn off was the fact that the waitress aggressively tried to force me into leaving her a tip when the two other members of my table left her a substantial tip. She would keep putting the reciept back down in front of me after I had already filled it out telling me tip was not included as if I was going to change it. Then she proceeded to put my receipt in front of my friend as if she would change it if I wouldn't. Will definitely be monitoring my bank activity until this clears to see if they add one without my permission.. Absolutely disrespectful! I don't think I'll be back here.

We came at a popular time (7 on a Saturday) with a large group (14) for hibachi, but we made a reservation and they didn't have a table for us until after 7:30. Then when we ordered drinks, it took the server 25 minutes and 4 trips to the table to bring my beer (everyone else received their drink orders within the first two trips). The food was fine, nothing amazing. The cook was the highlight of the evening- he was very engaging and energetic. Otherwise, I would not recommend this restaurant.
