I have had good meals and bad meals at this particular red robin bad more than good. i mainly only order because i work in walking distance. This last visit was the worst. I ordered the harrisa salmon sandwich, it was obviously microwaved but that was my real problem, they put breading on and fried actual lemon wedges then put that on top of sandwich which isn't edible, no sauce, cold fries, over seasoned, needless to say i wont eat red robin again i will just have to wait for shake shake that will open in area in near future. I also waited ten minuets for sauce which i never got but 10 min waiting for person to grab to go order then additional 10 min for sauce i never got equals 20 of my 30 min lunch break.

I guess it's to be expected from a chain restaurant, but it's usually too loud to have a conversation because of the unusual amount of kids here normally, even if you're sitting across the restaurant in the "adult section." The burgers are great and the service is typically good, though!

Lot of better burger places around, went here out of nostalgia last Sunday. Poorly managed. Waited for several minutes to be seated which did not makes sense seeing empty tables after being seated. Hostess took people's names and number in party, then someone else came and did same, then yet another person came for same?? Only takes one to hostess. Waited many more minutes after being seated for a waitress. Waitress had crummy manners/attitude. Kitchen was slacking in getting orders out, made easier to see by having an open counter and the door to the kitchen being open as well. Many parties sitting at tables without being served or waited on, many of us looking around the tables at each other wondering what's going on. Took no less than 30 minutes to get out the order. In very poor form, our waitress returned and informed us that our order was taking so long because one of us ordered their biggest burger, well done, and the time was because of how long it took to cook it. Major foul to blame the customer, especially when you can look around and see multiple tables without their order, orders sitting in the heat lights in the kitchen, people wandering around the kitchen, customers looking at each other. At the end it was difficult to pay and get out of there. When the waitress finally brought our bill we needed change. Waited again. Waitress returns with one big bill for change. Explained we needed change for that. Waitress says it might be a minute and I explain it's the difference between receiving a tip or not and after being in the place for 2 hours we're tired of waiting. Waitress says it's because of the bartender, they are the only ones with a cash register and access to such. In any event, very poorly managed, is the manager new to this or someone who was promoted from within and doesn't know how to go from being friends with employess to being boss? Not the service I would expect here, but then again, this is the place where someone died outside in their car and no one noticed for how long? I know RR from the West Coast, years before it made it to West Hartford, and it would appear that this place is better preserved as a memory, especially with the number of places around offering "gourmet" burgers these days.

Went in at lunch last Friday. About 11:45am. Hostess seated us in booth in bar area. We waited 10 minutes then 15 minutes no one acknowledge us. Mention to hostess and 5 minutes later still no acknowledgement. The gal waiting in bar area had only one table other than us. We always go there but this was rude. She never even looked our way. We wont go back

Red Robin is a big chain so you'd think every location would be consistent. They are not. I visit New Britain each summer for work and have stopped in this Red Robin 3 or 4 times (mostly because it's one of the only places I can find to get a chocolate milkshake). Anyway, every time I've been here I had to wait a long time for my food. I really think there's something wrong with the training and/or management here. Other Red Robins I've been to get things done noticeably quicker.
