I really wanted to like this place more than I did. Been here a few times, but I never felt like the food was especially tasty. Everything seems a little bit blander than I had expected it to be, and the soup special didn't taste homemade.. I'm rounding up to four stars because the owners / staff are very friendly people.

Great home made breakfast spot and lovely for take out lunches too. Friendly and kind staff.

Food is simple and delicious. Service is friendly and on point. We went with a near melt down toddler after a morning at the children's museum and the waitress knew just how to help! Crackers arrived at the table before we even ordered! The chicken and rice soup was great and the reuban's were a big hit!! Great little spot, we will be back. Support local!!

Disappointing. Food wasn't anything special, and service was poor. Fruit carried a metallic taste. Errors on half of our plates and the server failed to return to the table, walking past twice without checking in. Sat for 10 minutes, waiting, and then had to get up and ask for the check. Won't be back.

If you want that kind of "down home" place to eat, then Sally & Bob's is definitely your place! The food was delicious, the staff friendly & welcoming. The only thing I would suggest is stronger coffee. It is a little weak for my taste, but other than that you cannot go wrong at Sally & Bob's!
