Valenti's closed, they gave the number to Pizza House up the street. The people were rude, and the grinder was distinctly 'not good' and small. There is a Salvadoran restaurant in the old location.

We just had grinders at this place last week. The grinders are awesome and they are really GIANT. Service was very good and food was reasonable priced . We always get our food delivered from Valentis now. We didnt try their pizza but i know that they just won the award for the "most flavarful pizza in east hartford". Would definately recommend everyone to this place!!!!

I love this place,I eat here often when I have no motivation to cook. All the foods looks and tasts yummy but nothing looks tastier than Ashley, sorry but I had to say it cuz everybody thinks it. This girl has the most seductive bottom, it is truly a vision.

My wife and I have been here before, and we will go back again. And again. And again. The food is just plain off the charts in quality, and the portions are huge. The restaurant itself is small, which gives it a certain charm. The staff is extremely friendly and pleasant, and the owner Joe is always there, at least when we have gone. I don't think Valenti's will stay at its current location for long. Once the word gets out about this place and the jig is up, they will need a much larger dining area. If you go there one time, they will win you over, you can take that to the bank.

Everyone else is 100% right. This can't stay a local secret for long at the rate they're going. The 8" sub is definitely a full meal for someone with a large appetite or two meals for regular people. It's very convenient to Rentschler Field tailgating or for a filling meal after the game. Why no 5th star? While you get tons and tons of meat, the other toppings just don't measure up in quantity, and you have a limited selection of what you can add.
