Came here during restaurant week and had a great overall experience. There were great choices on the prefix menu and a great wine selection. We had great service at the start and they even opted to go and purchase a specific gin which they didn't have on the shelf for one of the people we were with. Later in the evening the response time seemed to slow down but overall a great experience.

I came here with my boyfriend and some friends for the first time for dinner on a Saturday night. We parked in the garage next door and walked over. The place was pretty busy and looked popular for happy hour. There were a lot of wines on the menu and I loved that they did small tastes (1 oz) as an option on the menu. They had some fun foods as well, meat/cheese plate, mac n' cheese, poke nachos, etc. The service was a hair slow, but overall I'd recommend coming. Prices were reasonable as well, especially for West Hartford center.

This is the sister restaurant to The Federal in Agawam, MA, and in the same spirit the food is rich, often splashed with truffle oil or garnished with seared foie gras. Get the fried risotto balls, pork belly tacos, or any dessert.
They also have argon backfilled wine stations so you can try an ounce, half glass, whole glass, bottle... let's be real, bottles all the way!

Very I interesting small plates. I wish I had a large appetite to order more, or it was close enough for me to visit again. We tried the chicken meatball sandwich, and lamb meatballs. The seafood choices were enticing but slightly pricey for a small plate, wish I could try the fried oysters, and the blackened scallops among other things. Even the vegetarian options looked good. Beer menu was good. We had the Allagash white which I highly recommend. They have good cocktail and wines on the menu as well. Great ambience, perfect for a romantic date, with outdoor seating as well.
