This place used to be less strict. I could walk around the lake when I was a child, since it was up the street. Now they don't let you in unless you're fishing. I hear fishers say it's not plentiful either. They should reopen this location with a new kitchen and I'm sure more locals would come by for lunch or on the weekend like when I was a child.

Great place to catch trout. Ask for the lakes of hemet card.
