Had a great meal and experience here. Restaurant is run by a wife/husband Team and their staff, they know food and service. Had a “small” plate, a “large” plate, wine and desert. All - fantastic! Kudos to their kitchen. Excellent service too. Can’t wait to come back next time in Hilo!

The wife and I visited the lovely little spot on our last night on the "Big Island". I've got to say, I regret not coming here sooner. The food is incredible, amazing, mouth watering, and one would even say orgasmic. The owner and staff are very friendly, hard working, patient. The environment that is provided is warm and comfortable. We love that the menu is fresh and changes daily. Whenever we make our way back over here, they will definitely get our business!

Wow, such a great experience. This is a real fine cuisine ladies and gentleman's. The ceviche with papaya was out of this world. All this couldn't be possible without Ela, the waitress, which brings the smile on your face with her Aloha spirit. You need reservation for this place because it's small and gets crowded really fast. Thank you for the guys in the kitchen that accepted my last order, even though it was passing the closing hour!

Found this location on Yelp and could not have found a better place to eat on the big island. The staff is so inviting and welcoming. The environment is very comfortable and the food is something to write home about. Every food critic should visit Moon and turtle and taste the vast flavors and unique menu that changes daily. I have been able to travel all over the United States and the menu at this local small Eatery is 1 that will go down as top 5. The owners are very inviting and friendly engage their customers and seemingly welcoming them into their family. Sharing a meal is a life-changing experience I won't soon forget. Thank you again Moon and turtle.

I decided to stop by here on a week night. It was busy and I didn't have a reservation, so I sat at the bar. The bartender was very nice and welcoming. I had the wild boar paparadel. I expected to have larger chunks of meat in it, but she said It wasn't supposed to. It was so tasty, I didn't want to stop eating it! It was a large portion and I would highly recommend it.
