The staff are very friendly and inviting, but possibly too inviting. Two out of the three times we visited in the week, large groups turned up with no respect for the musicians or other guests and made the atmosphere unbearably noisy. A couple of the latter group were wearing shorts and t-shirts, so the dress code isn't really enforced either. I guess as long as they're paying...
Very nice place, good service and drinks, but unfortunately marred by a lack of control over the clientele.

Very enjoyable time here. Nice to hang out with friends, sip some scotch and just relax in a nice atmosphere.

High end place with great live jazz. Unfortunately, a collared shirt is required and jacket preferred, this place is very stuffy considering the HI cool vibe. Customers are rolling in here in 3 piece suits, evening gowns and dressed for the oscars, kinda funny in the middle of Waikiki. Staff was great though, they kindly offered me a $30 collared hawiian shirt to cover my $175 designer shirt and $5500 watch. I had a drink and left, just wanted to relax and enjoy some jazz, not show off a suit and tie. If they chilled out a bit, this place would be amazing and 5 star. Just not for me while I'm in Hawaii.
